Specialist Surfacing Ltd are a forward thinking company who employ a workforce of approximately 45 personnel who are all trained to the high standard expected by a company of our stature.

Our modern fleet of plant has been re-structured, recently acquiring two new Ammann Paving Machines, in addition to our Bitelli and Dynapac Pavers we now have 5 in total which enables us to be diverse enough to lay footpaths and driveways from 1.4m up to a 5m screed machine which is ideally suited to car parks and estate roads.

Our fleet of rollers vary from a 0.8m wide Bomag AD 80 designed for tight spaces and footpaths, through to a 1.61m wide Bomag AD161, designed for heavy duty industrial works and A-Roads. As well as our existing Dynapac and Bomag rollers we have also recently purchased four Hamm Rollers of varying sizes.

Bobcat loading shovels are with every gang and each one comes equipped with a planing attachment and sweeping brush attachment. This reduces the need for hiring planers and sweepers, keeping our rates competitive whilst not compromising on quality of work or site cleanliness. Each gang also contains a trailer for hauling smaller items of plant, a pick up or small tipper for transporting our essential tools and fuel. Crew vans with warm water wash basins and microwave ovens are provided for each gang to ensure they have a clean environment.

We also now run our own low loader, to reduce costs on haulage and also to give us greater flexibility with our plant requirements on site.

Our in house workshop based in Scunthorpe ensures all of our plant and vehicles are regularly inspected and correctly maintained.
